The Accounts Payable Senior Analyst for Processing is a seasoned position reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring accuracy in accounts payable processing and timely preparation of invoicing following Lonza's internal policies.
The role entails experience in mentoring and entry-level positions. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and adjusting to changing deadlines and priorities. Must work well independently and in a team, consistently demonstrating professionalism and possessing strong oral and written English skills.
Key responsibilities:- Accurately process high volumes of purchase orders and non-purchase order invoices within specific time frames.
- Adhere consistently to accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Route invoices for approval and resolution.
- Maintain files and documentation meticulously and accurately, following company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as necessary.
- Provide support to other business areas when needed, potentially assisting various functional areas within GBSO.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Technical High School degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in the US Accounts Payable cycle.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP SAP.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Outstanding attention to detail and data entry quality.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for decisions and actions.
- Knowledge of Invoicetrack is a plus.
