Training and Communications Lead- Legal Operations

The OpportunityReporting to the Global Head Legal Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training and communications strategies for the wider Legal department, tailoring them to meet the department's and business clients' needs. Your role includes overseeing the creation of specialized training modules on various topics like legal tech tools, new processes, regulatory updates, and best practices. Additionally, you will shape key narratives, lead communication initiatives, and ensure message consistency.The RoleAs the Training & Communications Lead, you will design and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to facilitate clear and effective interactions within the legal department and with our business clients. This involves generating regular updates, announcements, and newsletters to keep all stakeholders well-informed and supported through operational changes.Responsibilities:
  • Assess the training requirements of the legal department by collaborating with other Legal sub-function leaders
  • Supervise the updating of training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy
  • Establish a central style standard to maintain a consistent voice in internal communications and reports
  • Coordinate with other departments to identify their training needs regarding legal processes or tools
  • Utilize surveys and focus groups to collect feedback on training programs and communication efforts
  • Utilize modern training and communication tools for effective content delivery
  • Identify communication channels and develop content for blogs and newsletters
  • Create and manage the budget for training and communication activities
  • Establish and manage the Legal training Academy by outlining the training strategy and creating e-learning modules/courses
Your skills and experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • PMP or similar certification preferred
  • Experience managing training and communications initiatives in a corporate legal setting for 7+ years
  • Familiarity with new engagement platforms for target audiences
  • Skilled in developing strategic training and communications materials requiring input from multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in leading communications for enterprise-wide change efforts
  • Knowledge of change management and efficient communication content development for high user adoption
  • Potential international travel of up to 10%
