As Trade Marketing Manager at BIC you are responsible for placing and promoting our BIC Shavers in the Swiss retail.

Development and accompany of customized marketing campaigns and promotions is a key part of the job. You are also the person resposible of the E-commerce for BIC Switzerland, covering all BIC categories.

The scope is divided into 2 main objectives to cover
:
Marketing (60%) & Sales (40%)

For the Marketing part:

  • You are creating shaver marketing plans for Switzerland that are inline with the EU shaver marketing strategy
  • You will work closely with the sales department to implement the plans and achieve the results
  • You are in support for the marketing manager in budget preparation/creation & forecasting in cooperation with sales team
  • You are in charge of the implementation of product training and marketing presentations for sales team, promotion agencies and customers
  • You have strong abilities in market and competition analysis; you establish assortment and product price positioning in line with the group's requirements and according to local market situation
  • You organize and implement POS promotions and other events
  • You coordinate and control copacking activities for local SKUs (e.g. display business)
  • You are cooperating closely with external partners such as advertising/media/promotion agencies and other marketing partners
  • You will be working on the implementation of Digital Campaigns for DACH region in close cooperation with EU and media agency and launching presentations/events for new product & innovation

For the Sales part:

  • You develop ecommerce presence/visibility for the key players (pure and omnichannel ecommerce) with all three categories (with a strong focus for Stationery)
  • You are optimizing our digital shelf and activations (promotions, banners); promo plan development per customer
  • You explore potential on existing Swiss Marketplaces
  • You are in charge of the coordination of content publishing / GDSN for customer together with DCE EU team
  • You are collaborating with the ecommerce team (Centre of Excellence) and EU Marketing teams beside Swiss sales team
  • You are preparing offers, negotiation of conditions (pricing, advertising fees), forecast...
  • You enhance & actualize SEO content and key words
  • You will be working on the development of customer Ecommerce presentations/meetings and launching innovation/new products in the Ecommerce channel

Qualifications:

  • You have at least basic knowledge of marketing principles, technologies and brand management
  • You have experiences that allows you to have knowledge of
    sales &
    communication channels (ideally Swiss retail structure) of online and social media marketing (ideally eCommerce)
  • You have very good
    communication skills
  • You are a
    team player,
  • You have strong analytics and
    strategic thinking abilities, especially for
    data analysis
  • You have a high level of
    creativity
  • You have strong
    decisionmaking ability and an independent working style
  • You have good
    organization and time management skills
  • You must be speaking
    English and Italian fluently, have
    basic knowledge of German; and
    French will be a plus
