Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree required, advanced science degree, PharmD or MD preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience within Biotech/Pharma in Global; rare disease experience preferred
  • Understanding government and industry guidelines, regulations, laws, etc., for appropriate scientific/medical exchange and customer communication
  • A minimum of five years of people leadership experience
  • Ability to lead by example, attract and develop talent, build interdependent partnerships, and create a culture of collaboration and teamwork that fosters open communication, constructive conflict resolution, and organizational flexibility
  • Able to prioritize and manage several complex projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to develop internal relationships in a high matrix environment, as well as external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and industry experts
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels and present complex and/or new ideas with clarity and simplicity.
  • Ability to prioritize concurrent projects with tight deadlines and operate in a highly compliancedriven environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within the company
  • The flexibility of approach and a positive attitude
  • A global mindset and foreign languages are considered vital assets
  • Travel (2540%) may be required to represent the company at medical conferences, presentations, and other meetings
  • Fluency in English
