Your field of responsibility


We offer a challenging position as the team head of the Swiss FCC Sanctions team, currently consisting of nine people based in Zurich, leading a group of dedicated specialists who are ensuring that the Bank's Swiss operations align with applicable embargo and economic sanctions requirements and the Bank's sanctions policy.

It includes narrow partnering with the other department colleagues across the globe as well business to provide guidance on sanctions related matters and participation in various committees and senior management calls & and forums.

It also includes participation in the team's further activities, including reputational risk reviews, desk reviews, analysis and commenting on new regulatory and internal requirements within your area of responsibility.

You will achieve this by an exchange with peer banks and regulators and by preparing and delivering training sessions with front areas and control functions.

Furthermore, you have the possibility to participate in projects and working groups and the opportunity to build a strong and sustainable network within the bank through frequent interactions with front areas, counterparts at corporate level and in other regions.

Your skills and experience

You bring the following skills:
- a University degree in law / business administration or similar
- preferably minimum 10 years' experience in the financial industry or law firm, ideally in the area of anti-money laundering & sanctions
- experience in leading mid-sized teams
- flexible and open mindset
- excellent written and oral language skills in German and English, other languages are a plus
- independent, exact and goal oriented working style to contribute to the team's success
- good analytical skills with a risk and process oriented thinking
