Our lifesaving medical devices, which are developed and produced on-site in Zurich, are used for the short
- and long-term treatment of patients suffering from severe heart disease.


Our location in the heart of the city of Zurich has around 130 employees in the areas of development and production of the CENTRIMAG system and the HEARTMATE 3.

Currently, we are expanding our innovative and high-caliber manufacturing engineering team in Zurich and an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and talented:

Intern in Manufacturing Engineering (min. 6 months)


The future intern will work as part of an interdisciplinary and dynamic team within the manufacturing engineering group in the process engineering team.


_ MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_

  • You will work in a regulated environment where you get to understand the applicable norms and standards.
  • You will contribute to develop, test, and introduce novel equipment needed to test or manufacture heart pumps.
  • You will be involved in problem solving activities and process improvements within our manufacturing area
  • You will have the opportunity to learn how to conduct equipment qualifications, process validations, test method and nonproduct software validations.
  • You will be working in a project team and/or lead your own small project

_ PROFILE_

  • Student in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar
  • Strong interest in the medical device industry and to work in a regulated environment
  • Solid English skills (C1), communicative German is a must
