HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Onschedule execution, planning and management of challenging modernization projects in an international environment, primarily for the Italian market.
  • Together with the project team, you implement the customer's specifications and develop futureoriented modernization solutions.
  • You lead a motivated project team.
  • Planning and management of internal engineering activities.
  • Together with the project team, you create highquality engineering documents and make a significant contribution to the success of the project.
  • By leading the approval and acceptance activities, you will achieve a flawless quality of the vehicles as well as the approval in due time.
  • Developing innovative solutions of top modernization offers for our customers.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Many years of experience in the management of demanding projects in an international environment
  • Many years of experience in the railroad industry or in plant construction
  • Team player with high degree of social competence, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
  • Completed further training in business management desirable
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Structured, goaloriented, dynamic and loyal personality
  • Fluent in German, Italian and English
  • Willingness to travel (2030%)

At the competence center in Frauenfeld, with over 6,000 square meters of production space and 110 meters of pit track, Stadler offers domestic and foreign customers a broad portfolio of services: From classic bogie and transmission overhauls to complex accident repairs and demanding refit projects.


  • In addition to the projects in Frauenfeld, you will also support orders from our international locations, mainly in Europe. For this purpose, additional languages, especially Italian, are an advantage, but not a must.
  • Together with your engineering team in Frauenfeld, consisting of approx. 20 employees, you will be responsible for the successful technical execution of these projects.
