WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The position of Cybersecurity Automation Specialist reports to the IT Security Architect and is based in Crissier (VD). Other working relationships include all members of the IT team, all users' worldwide and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities OVERALL PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this position is to:

  • Learn and master all tasks related to our cybersecurity operations
  • Analyse tasks, deconstruct them, and build automation scripts and routines to automate
  • Design automation and scripting to automate reoccurring cybersecurity operational tasks
  • Integrate and augment our existing processes by connecting them with systems by leveraging API
  • Tenaciously performing cybersecurity operational tasks until they are fully automated
  • Explore emerging technologies to consistently staying ahead of industry trends
  • Elevate alert mechanisms through the development of advanced query capabilities and event correlation
  • Develop skills specific to cybersecurity, by collaborating closely with the IT Security Architect
  • Collaborate and support a team of colleagues by providing your automation capabilities
  • Develop consistent and well-documented procedures to assist with audits
  • Streamline tasks and priorities adeptly with Agile work methodologies
  • Ensuring comprehensive oversight within our ticketing system to prevent any operational gaps
  • Proposing process enhancements and fostering collaboration across a diverse spectrum of experts
PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Diligently executing cybersecurity operational tasks until full automation is achieved
  • Automate tasks and built new ones based on business requirements
  • Automate reporting and actions for common actions based on document runbooks
  • Improve the overall cybersecurity posture by applying automation mechanism
  • Reduce team fatigue by building and automating all aspects of cybersecurity
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified to graduate level
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in automation
SKILLS

  • English at business level, French highly valued
  • Excellent ability to solve technical problems with creative solutions
  • Excellent ability to code, script and automate repetitive tasks
  • Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Good understanding of API to automate tasks
  • Interest for cybersecurity and protecting critical infrastructures
  • Interest for cloud systems (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
  • Well organized and willing to collaborate and learn from industry experts
