About the role**:


The job holder ensures the global consolidation of GMS global functions and will act as finance business partner supporting GMS Senior Management in charge of global functions.


This role also plays a key role in global finance initiatives, supporting in particular integration activities and finance systems implementation.


How you will contribute:

  • Lead and coordinate all financial planning and analysis activities for the assigned Global Functions.
  • Deliver high quality insights, integrated decision support, predictive scenario planning and stepchange solutions to the Global Functions heads.
  • Manage the planning processes with effective storytelling to achieve desired results.
  • Create and deliver impactful financial analysis and business cases on global programms.
  • Oversee statutory reporting and compliance requirements, i.e. full compliance with company accounting policies and SOX 302 guidelines.
  • Support value capture in GMS eAgile programm including financial target setting and performance tracking.
  • Drive the digitalization of financial planning, analysis and reporting for Global Functions and eAgile reporting.
  • Demonstrate the Takeda Leadership Behaviors and bring others along the change journey.

_ DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS _

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Indepth knowledge of management reporting and analysis methodologies
  • Strong analytical skill and ability to successfully manage, organize & analyse large volumes of data
  • Experience with SAP, BI, HFM, TM1, Oracle preferred
  • Excellent communication in English

Leadership

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to both liaise with and challenge senior managers within the organization
  • Highly analytical skills with the ability to stand back and understand the 'big picture' and translate this into action orientated results;

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Ability to work independently, and proceed with objectives and deliverables with mínimal supervision

Interaction

  • Regular interactions with the head of GMS Global Functions and GMSGQ finance team members.

Innovation

  • Position will require ability to review and improve current processes to drive value.
  • Solid understanding of AGILE and Digital Finance landscape and ability to innovate and influence new ways of working

Complexity

  • High level of complexity due to the diversity of GMS manufacturing network and the existence of multiple ERPs.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Education: Completed business studies with focus on management / accounting / controlling. CMA, CPA, Master in Finance or MBA education preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of professional experience in a finance / controlling position, proficiency with MS Excel and Power Point is expected, solid knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
  • Languages: Excellent English skills.
  • Profile: Structured & processoriented, strategic mindset, proactive and driven, problemsolver, strong communication skills, team player.
