The Manufacturing Scientist (m/f/d) will be accountable for the following tasks:

Laboratory Studies:

  • Conduct and record purification and filtration experiments in the GMS laboratory.
  • Assist in tech transfer, manufacturing investigations, and process enhancement projects.
  • Analyze lab study samples and data.
  • Create reports to document study results.
  • Share study findings with management and project teams.
  • The responsibilities may vary based on the experience level.

GMS Lab Operations:

  • Supervise samples and data.
  • Manage reagents and consumables.
  • Prepare buffers and solutions.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

Cross-Functional Team Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing scale projects.
  • Prepare investigation and validation protocols and reports.
  • Create and handle sample plans as needed.
  • Support various areas such as process investigations and change control implementations.

To be eligible for this position, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Apprenticeship, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Solid experience with lab-scale purification and filtration systems.
  • Technical expertise in biomanufacturing and/or process development.
  • Familiarity with data workflows and analytics is advantageous.
  • Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborative environments.
