Junior Category Manager

Your Role:
  • Support and develop the packaging and excipient categories globally, focusing on primary and secondary packaging materials and excipients
  • Observe, analyze, and develop new procurement markets
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure product availability in terms of timing, quantity, and quality
  • Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships
  • Lead projects to enhance productivity and achieve savings
  • Conduct negotiations and draft contracts
  • Prepare procurement-related KPI reports independently
Your Profile:
  • University degree in business, economics, or engineering (BA required, MA is advantageous)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience
  • Experience in an international matrix organization with functional reporting lines is advantageous
  • Experience in procurement of packaging materials or excipients for pharmaceutical products is advantageous
  • Strong negotiation skills and communication abilities
  • Assertive with a high level of commitment
  • Goal-oriented and resilient personality with analytical thinking
  • Quality-conscious and hands-on mentality
  • Proficient in English and preferably German
