    In our Finance & Risk Middle Office Operations team, you will be responsible for:
  • Producing daily, weekly and monthly data marts / KPIs as basis for Management Reporting
  • Cleaning data and aligning with master data sources / owners as required
  • Performing general analysis / queries on data sets to validate data, to verify data marts / KPIs and to answer specific questions on KPI results
  • Handling data issues / troubleshooting in close collaboration with business and IT / developers
  • Supporting the improvement and expansion of our central cloudbased data warehouse by specifying new and changing data requirements; identifying areas to increase efficiency and to further automate data processing and processes; contributing to the onboarding of new middle office / data / reporting use cases
  • Bachelor or Master Data Science / Computational Science (University or Fachhochschule)
  • Alternatively, Bachelor or Master in Economics (University or Fachhochschule) with high affinity for data and analytics
  • Intermediate programming skills e.g., in Excel Power Query, SQL or Python
  • Ideally (superuser) skills in Tableau / Power BI / Cognos or similar
  • Professional level in using MS Office products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in German and English (oral and written); Italian or French would be a nice to have
  • 13 years of professional experience in the financial industry desirable
  • Analytical : analyzing data and issues in a structured way, deriving conclusions and explaining them to others
  • Reliable : working exactly, focusing on high output quality and accuracy, keeping agreed deadlines
  • Communicative:
- able to explain complex issues with simple words (written and orally)
- able to communicate with different types of stakeholders in adequate language (IT, Controlling, Developers)
