The Job:

We are looking for a Internal Communication Partner to manage the site Communications and achieve our Culture transformation targets.

This role will play a critical role in shaping our communication strategy, raising the employee engagement, and ultimately enabling a culture of transparency and empowerment.

This role will also work closely with the VP/GM and the Site Leadership Team to develop communications and engagement programs that align with the company's Mission and 4i Values and drive engagement across the site.

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate site communications, employee engagement activities, town halls and site events
  • Support VP/GM and SLT as lead support for writing, editing and distributing site communications
  • Manage and Partner with HR and other stakeholder on culture and employee engagement initiatives, site communication and local university relations initiatives
  • Execute editorial work for site including TV monitors (text, visuals, video) for daily information, administrative updates, announcements and facility services updates.
  • Build and maintains site iConnect site
  • Key contributor to Site Yammer pages
  • Establish and execute project communication plans as needed and develop information communication procedures.
  • Work crossfunctionally to coordinate activities and identify and resolve problems.
  • Coordinate between functional areas to ensure communication needs are met.
  • Perform additional tasks in support of VP/GM site operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of corporate communication experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or comparable education
  • Science industry experience a plus
  • Strong writer, editor and communicator (written and oral) in English and German
  • Ability to translate complex messages into easy to understand communications
  • Experience and passion for culture development and employee engagement initiatives
  • Experience working in a highlevel collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Excellent PowerPoint and MS Office skills
  • Sound problemsolving skills, e.g., ability to objectively analyze current practices, identify root cause problems and improvement opportunities, formulate a range of achievable options, outline relative strengths, build consensus for a preferred solution
