Join the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team, a global pharmaceutical company focused on meaningful innovation in healthcare. At the Bern site, a diverse team of approximately 600 individuals from 25 different nationalities work on developing and manufacturing cutting-edge cell-based viral and bacterial vaccines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and other GMP samples
  • Completing analytical tests according to internal and external requirements
  • Handling raw material sampling
  • Writing technical documents and reports
  • Supporting laboratory management and planning activities
  • Managing lab events, investigations, and change controls
  • Developing study plans and method validation reports
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and conducting calibration tasks
  • Operating analytical instruments in the QC Raw Materials lab
  • Supporting QC department objectives and audits
  • Ensuring compliance with quality goals
  • Contributing to team enhancement and adapting to changing business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural or applied sciences
  • Experience in Pharma, Biotech, or Vaccines industry
  • Proficiency in laboratory operations and methods
  • Knowledge of method validations, equipment qualification, and compendial testing
  • Strong writing skills for technical documents and reports
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and project management abilities
  • Advanced IT skills and proficiency in English (German is a plus)
