Business Insights Manager HNC EMEA

As a Business Insights Manager, you will help shape regional strategies, provide competitive intelligence data, support new market launches and drive creation and activation of growth insights (e.g. white space analysis).
Your insightful analyses, qualitative and quantitative research and commercial savviness will allow the leadership team as well as sales and business development teams to understand industry and customer dynamics and ultimately to meet and exceed business objectives.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the segments in the creation of growth strategies and plans and drive the growth agenda through leveraging insights
- Set regional business insight priorities in alignment with global priorities and segment needs
- Be the partner of the marketing and sales teams where segment, customer brand, competitive and consumer insights related information is needed and where unbiased views and interpretations are essential.
- Drive the regional activation of global business insights initiatives, turning data and analytics into insights, actions and results, and works closely with global teams to ensure any global tool developments fit the EMEA requirements.
- Be the champion for consumer insights that supports the regional team in their customer brand centric approach and in creation of relevant concepts and value propositions.
- Prepare industry related individualized reports (market, brand, company, competition) on request by the different regional functions including strategic conclusions and recommendation, leveraging on several data sources (e.g. Mintel, Euromonitor, etc.)
- Coordinate and conducts primary research (e.g. concept tests) whenever necessary together with external market intelligence companies. Based on the raw data, the market insights manager delivers the indepth analysis and the modelling of the data into information and provides recommendations to the internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate the selection of vendors for primary research (consumer research, market and industry mapping, etc.).
- Closely collaborate with the Global Business Insights Manager(s) and peers from other regions to broaden the perspective and level of insights.
- Have strong external networks and continues to (pro)actively expand them among its peers and external business partners in the relevant markets.
- Support segment and sales teams with customer presentations for innovation days etc. with consumer insights and concept tests as needed

You bring
- You have a Bachelor or master's degree in business or sciencerelated field
- At least 5 years of experience within B2C environment
- You have a strong consumer insights experience
- Good and open communication skills at all levels: you will present insights and reports to different stakeholder groups or customers as needed.
- You have a strong ability to critically analyze data with a highlevel curiosity and ability to challenge; moreover, you are familiar with market insights tools and instruments as well as continuous evaluation of new methodologies.
- You know what's happening in the market and want to be a frontier in your profession.
- You have a focused and structured way of working and reporting and you can work under high time pressure
