Summary of Job Role


An Integration Technician assists and supports the integration team during all phases of integration of the systems designed by engineers and performs adequate packing before shipping to customers.

He should have the necessary troubleshooting skills to find failures related to his operation during the integration phase and for remote support later during deployment phase.

(Cabling, system power connectivity, all satcom system components readiness and their interconnection, initial system testing up to the configuration level).


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand system design and Support to Integration Engineer during System Integration:1
  • Correct cables and connectors availability and integrated in GVA and including remaining needed cables and connectors for system installation at customer site.
2- System power connectivity check-up and testing.

3- Propose solutions for technical issues faced in relation to scope of work.

4- Prestage components ready and checked according to design with necessary tests done.

5- Responsible for correct labeling on per site/project/customer basis to ease identification when equipment arrives on site.

6- Documentation of work done when needed.

7- Support Administrator in optimizing space in the facility and warehouses.

8- Do correct, adequate and optimized Packaging (packing list, export documentation, etc.) after Integration is finished.

  • Remote support during installation at site of the integrated systems delivered from GVA.
  • Support in RMA process during repair and test at Geneva lab.
  • Make sure the availability, management and maintenance of the necessary tools needed for all types of integrations.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse & RMA Administrators and support when needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineer or similar field.
  • 04 years of experience (preferred in Telecommunications field).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • High Level of organization and coordination skills.
  • Proficient with tools and goal oriented
  • Adequate level of physical fitness
  • Good understanding of safe working practices.
  • Fluency in both French and English (verbal and written)
