Who we are looking for


A Portfolio Advisor who will develop and monitor the Investment Portfolio of one of our Blended Finance Mandate during the maternity leave of our Portfolio Advisor, from April 2023 to Dec.

2023.

The position is based in our office in Geneva, with reporting line to the Head of Blended Finance.

About the Job

Job Description:

Coordinate the Fund's monthly Investment Committees, manage communication with IC members and prepare all IC meeting documentation and minutes
Liaise and coordinate actively with the Pipeline team to manage deal flow (pipeline of deals, IC decisions including special conditions, etc.)
Liaise with the Investment Operations and Forex teams for the compliance clearance, legal closing, disbursement and currency hedging of each transaction
Monitor the portfolio diversification and ensure compliance with the Issue Document, Investment Policy and Procedures and other guidelines
Prepare the provisioning proposal each quarter
Produce the monthly reports for the Investment Committee and the AIFM
Support the team on other reporting duties and ad hoc requests

Your Qualification

Requirements:


We are looking for a team player who is highly organized, autonomous, and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.


More specifically, the position requires the following qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience related to investments in emerging and frontier markets, with a background in portfolio management and/or credit risk analysis and/or deal negotiation and a good knowledge of accounting (in particular IFRS)
Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a can-do, problem solving attitude
Willingness to learn with a proactive, structured and independent working style
Ease at interacting with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders at various seniority levels
Fluent English, other languages (German, French, Spanish) a plus
CFA, CIIA, CAIA or similar qualification is a plus
Swiss/EU national or Valid work permit for Switzerland
