The Franke Coffee Systems division is a leading global provider of state-of-the-art solutions for professional coffee making. Together with our trade partners, we are committed to delivering premium best-in-class in-cup-quality, consistency and beverage variety, as well as ensuring an outstanding customer experience through constant innovation.
We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager (f/m), where the global headquarters of the Coffee Systems division is located, to join us in taking our safety culture to the next Level.
Your responsibilities- Support and implement the local and global health and safety strategy, aligned with the company's overall Safety First objectives
- Assess, monitor and support the implementation of the agreed improvement plans at divisional and location level
- Ensure that the division's locations comply with national and Franke health and safety standards
- Support and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific safety standards for PPE, machine safety, contractor management,...
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigating risks
- Implement proactive measures to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses
- Customize and implement train-the-trainer safety programs for topics like onboarding of employees and visitors, risk assessment-safety observations, LOTOTO, internal transport, working at heights and more
- Lead investigations of reported accidents and near misses, providing thorough analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
- Maintain and analyze Safety KPI to identify areas for improvement and implement preventative/corrective actions
- 5-10 years' experience of managing health and safety in an industrial manufacturing plant with SHE responsibility/accountability/authority
- Knowledge and experience in safety maturity culture concepts like Hearts and Minds, Dupont Bradley curve
- Experience Integrated Multi Site Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO14001, & ISO is a plus
- Education and experience in Loss Prevention and Fire Safety is a plus
- Team-player with a Safety First spirit, not afraid to give constructive feedback to all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize, work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed
- Able to demonstrate a continuous improvement mind set in the workplace
- Analytical skills in problem solving
- Fluet German and English skills required
- Willingness to travel approx. 20%
- 40 hour week
