TasksThe Role
Join us as a Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager (DACH) - Health & Nutrition in a remote role, contributing to our mission of delivering superior health and wellness products. In this crucial position, you will ensure Avea's products comply with strict regulatory standards and laws in the DACH region and the EU, playing a vital role in our success in the DACH market.

Your impact:
- Regulatory Strategy and Compliance: Develop and execute regulatory strategies to ensure product compliance in the DACH region and the EU for the health and nutrition sectors.
- Product Registration and Documentation: Lead product registration for new and existing products, maintaining comprehensive documentation for regulatory submissions and compliance.
- Ingredient Compliance: Conduct in-depth reviews of product formulations to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Labeling and Marketing Compliance: Supervise product labeling and marketing materials to meet regulatory standards, providing clear and compliant product information.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory authorities, industry associations, and certification bodies, facilitating smooth product introductions and ongoing compliance.
- Regulatory Intelligence: Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting the health and nutrition sectors, offering guidance on strategic compliance approaches.
- Document Management and Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all regulatory documents, labels, ingredient specifications, and other compliance-related materials for easy access and current compliance tracking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and production teams to integrate regulatory considerations into product development and commercial strategies.
You'll Fit Great With These Skills and Values
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the health and nutrition sectors, specifically in the DACH region and the EU.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DACH/EU regulatory frameworks and guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate regulatory requirements effectively to non-specialists, and negotiate with regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in German and English, with exceptional communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities and rigorous organizational skills.
- Proactive personality, adept at navigating a fast-paced startup environment.
