As a Technical Program Manager on the Digital Humans team, you will foster our scientific explorations in areas like motion/appearance capture via novel camera systems, biophysical models, simulation and rendering.

You will generate viable paths to the consumer products that will connect people in a meaningful way for decades to come.

Technical Program Manager - Digital Human Research Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys.
  • Work with research/engineering teams to identify scope, constraints, dependencies, bottlenecks, and risks and translate to an action plan.
  • Coordinate crossfunctional interactions, communication, and alignment.
  • Define and maintain schedule, gather requirements, track resources, develop integration plans, track progress, prioritize initiatives, and proactively identify/address potential setbacks.
  • Create and manage new processes and tools to improve team collaboration and communication.
  • Help define organizationwide practices for privacy and other policy compliance around data collection and handling by research teams.
  • Proactively identify technical, legal, procedural, logístical, and communication issues and drive creative solutions to fix them and manage risk.
  • Ensure that the information your team needs is complete, current, accurate, and easy to find. Recognize when further information is required and work to provide it.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of industry technical program management experience or equivalent.
  • 4+ years experience defining and driving project progress and schedules.
  • 4+ years experience working with crossfunctional teams, building relationships, motivating people and resolving disagreements.
  • 4+ years organizing teams projects, making tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software and hardware solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical program management for Research.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, e.g., research, software, and hardware.
  • Exposure to hardware prototyping and development processes.
