With more than 200 professionals, our Investment Solutions department is responsible for providing sophisticated and customized investment proposals to our private clients.

In this context, we are looking for a Discretionary Portfolio Manager - Operations, for our Geneva office:

Mission:

  • Implement Lombard Odier investment committee's decisions in client discretionary portfolios in accordance with clients' constraints and preferences, regulatory and tax constraints
  • Monitor alignment of portfolios labelled in EUR, CHF, USD and GBP and correct deviations from strategies
  • Followup on daily operations on the discretionary portfolio perimeter (corporate actions, cash management, risk management), in collaboration with Client Portfolio Managers
  • Contribute to the development of the team activities by providing concrete solutions to improve discretionary management processes (quantitative analyses, automation of investment processes in Python or Vba, internal communication)
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge on financial markets and Lombard Odier investment offering, on traditional and alternative assets, and on investment strategy and portfolio management

Desired profile:

  • University education and CFA and/or recognized diploma in investment
  • Experience in discretionary portfolio management (min. 5 years)
  • Excellent knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio management
  • Ability to take decisions, flexibility and autonomy
  • Ability to acquire and share skills, entrepreneurial/team spirit and solution oriented
  • Good knowledge of Bloomberg, Excel and PowerPoint and coding skills (Python, Vba)
  • Fluent in French and English mandatory, German would be an asset
  • Switzerland residency
