The position

  • As the Global Project Manager Sustainability, you are tasked to implement the health equity strategy for our rare blood disorders portfolio (new assets and anchor areas), with special attention to access to care and treatment for our Sickle Cell Disease portfolio. Furthermore, you will develop tracking standards for our sustainable business strategy and communicate progress, both internally and externally.
  • In addition, your tasks will also be to:
  • Lead implementation of Access to Care strategy for rare blood disorders, including Sickle Cell Disease
  • Drive health equity projects and develop metrics for tracking progress
  • Perform internal and external reporting on activities, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally, including senior leadership engagement
  • Contribute expertise in health equity and communication, ensuring alignment with industry best practices
  • In this role you will be based in Zurich and report to the Director Public Affairs & Sustainability, Novo Nordisk Rare Disease.
    Qualifications
  • You should have a sharp business acumen, always proactive and resourceful in tackling challenges. Your innovative thinking and strong communication skills will be key in driving initiatives forward and fostering collaboration. It's essential that you are genuinely passionate about health equity and dedicated to improving access to care for those living with rare diseases. Additionally, your ability to build strong interpersonal relationships will be crucial in this role.
  • Master's degree in sustainability, public health, health economics, political science or business management
  • 5+ years of experience, including a proven trackrecord of working with sustainable business challenges, from a health equity perspective and preferably with experience from lowresource countries
  • Excellent knowledge of sustainable business practices and industry standards, for both execution and reporting purposes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects
  • Fluency in English
