Supervisor Operations Coordination

Location:
Basel / Allschwil

As a
Supervisor Operations Coordinator you have overall responsibility for handling the departments administration, planning and incoming goods/warehouse/logistics.

In this role, you handle the day-to-day business of these areas and ensures a most effective and efficient collaboration between them.


Your are also responsible for all coordinative processes in your area of responsibility and ensure timely scheduling of CLS production, as well as the timely provision of all services and materials required prior to it.

Your team is the single point of contact for all queries regarding material management, ship dates, timelines, availability of material, rush requests and other delivery topics.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Handles the daytoday business in administration, planning and warehouse/logistics.
  • Builds and maintains rapport and collaborative relationships with internal departments and sister sites and coordinates scheduling and operational services
  • Develops his areas of responsibility and their collaboration according to the strategy of the CLS Operation
  • Conducts daily planning meetings as well as tier meetings of his departments.
  • Holds staff accountable for their ongoing performance to specified standards
  • Develops training plans to suit growth and improvement efforts. Provides individual training for new department members as needed. Trains staff on all new and revised procedures and work instructions
  • Identifies resource needs (e

g:
shift work), hires, trains, evaluates, and sets standards, goals, and objectives for his staff

  • Conducts all annual employee development initiatives, midyear evaluations, yearend evaluations
  • Communicates with the Operations Manager and Supervisors about job timelines and resources and advises department manager of any potential problems
  • Reviews and builds WIs and SOPs for the areas of responsibility
  • Follows all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client protocols, and quality criteria in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility
  • Prepares reports, assigns responsibilities for corrective and preventive measures in case of internal incidents or customer complaints related to areas of his responsibility
  • Creates and provides relevant reports, statistics and important metrics to the management

Your Qualification:

  • Professional degree, preferably in the print or pharma industry or similar
  • 2+ years in a leadership position in a print or pharma environment or similar
  • Experience with administrative, scheduling, and warehousing processes
  • Fluency written and spoken in German and English
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills
  • Experience in building and leading teams
