Legal and Patents Counsel in IO-SO. The position will be based in Zurich (Switzerland) and will report to Vice President

International Operations.
The position

  • You will also drive and deliver training and awareness initiatives in areas of legal responsibilities.
  • In addition, you will:
  • Help to facilitate the communication with HQ, regions, and affiliates on IP matters.
  • Help to facilitate the training and awareness initiatives on IP to IO stakeholders, including, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, public affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams.
  • Closely collaborate with Legal, Ethics & Compliance and Patent teams, being a sounding board for discussions on IP strategies and initiatives.
  • You will be member of the IO-SO Legal Affairs Team.
    Qualifications
  • You have a Masters in Law and have passed the bar exam.
  • You have minimum 8 years of legal experience of which minimum 5 working in pharma, in an international environment.
  • You may have an IP educational background, or otherwise experience working with intellectual property; if this is not the case, your solid legal knowledge, curiosity, and agility enable you to pick up new areas quickly.
  • You are proactive, have strong business partnering and communication skills, take a simple, agile approach to driving/advising on complex projects and you are able to work effectively with a high level of independence and autonomy.
  • You are a strong communicator and enjoy presenting to business groups.
