With an international scope, Bio-Rad is now looking for a Supply Assurance Buyer (m/f/d) - 100%, for a for a fixed-term assignment from mid-June 2024 to mid-February 2025. The Supply Assurance Buyer is responsible to purchase the materials and services used in the manufacturing operations for Dreieich and Cressier. She/He ensures the quality, deadlines, pricing, following the defined purchasing strategy and the rules in place.

Your impact:

Insure PO lifecycle management:

• Process orders in a timely manner and in compliance with best practices
• Recognize and reconcile any potential order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays, pricing errors, and out of stock situations to ensure orders will deliver on time and in full
• Utilize reporting to identify and reconcile order exceptions which could cause delays in deliveries/production.
• Ensure quality issues follow-up. These activities are executed in close regard to the Supplier Management Process and the other internal policies

Communication:

• Provide timely information regarding order processing, procedures, and system updates
• Resolve and/or escalate critical order issues to achieve manufacturing goals and priorities
• Direct contact with suppliers

Data: Open and update the data to ensure the business continuity according to the rules in place

Other:

• Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
• Replacement within the team and support of the group.

What you bring:

• Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
• You have 1-3 years of experience in the purchasing industry
• Your mother tongue is French or German with a good knowledge of the other language and you have basic knowledge in English
• Good oral and written communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills with a good organizational competence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office
• You have SAP/R3 user knowledge (an asset)
