If so, Egencia is looking for Regional Account Managers to join our fast-growing digital travel organization.


Egencia Regional Account Managers partner with existing and new customers to develop multi-dimensional business relationships and to provide customized solutions for their travel needs.

This role understands our vision, the power of our technology, market dynamics, and competitive pressures.

This position develops and implements strategic business plans to align the business goals and objectives of both Egencia and our customer.


The position requires proven skills in commercial negotiation and the ability to analyze, manage, and improve customer profitability and maximize revenues.

The role requires outstanding communication skills (verbal & written) and a strong understanding of how market trends may potentially effect business needs and travel solutions.

This position represents the Egencia Brand through oral, written and formal presentations to current and potential clients at all levels.

A Regional Account manager is a team player, biased to action, data driven, and business judgement led. They have a high level of integrity, optimism and can function effectively and independently in fast paced environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Create a compelling vision and strategy that translates into tangible goals & objectives
  • Set clear success metrics for executing against strategy and is accountable for results
  • Effective and proactive use of internal knowledge tools and resources needed for success
  • Analyze, manage, and improve customer profitability and maximize revenues
  • Handle objections, clarify goals and negotiate towards winwin outcomes
  • Navigate internally and externally to leverage network to drive results
  • Maintain productive, longterm relationship with customers and is viewed as a business advisor pursuing common objectives
  • Leverage new features and enhancements to expand product usage.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer educate internal teams on customer needs regarding service, functionality and new features
  • Articulate ideas or plans to a varied audience to lead the right discussions
  • Influences customers by clearly articulating the benefits of Egencia Services
  • Conduct regular business reviews to measure performance and align on growth strategies and objectives
  • Communicate and manage expectations between Egencia and customer.
  • Negotiate new services and solutions to effectively to benefit customer needs, solutions and to expand portfolio value.
  • Provide mentoring, training and educational development internally to sales and program management colleagues through regular updates, presentations and ad hoc support, including new hire training
  • Lead projects and initiatives as required, with ability to guide crossfunctional teams to achieve established goals and deliverables as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive rapport with all business partners and clients

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate in a manner which ensures message is understood by all
  • Ability to effectively work independently in a virtual environment

  • Techsavvy with ability to communicate technical features effectively and enthusiastically
  • Ability to travel as needed both nationally and internationally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint and Outlook

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • Significant previous experience Account Management
  • Experience in managing strategic relationships
  • Business Travel Experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong negotiating and facilitation skills
  • French, English and German required
