Position Summary


The Nestlé System Technology Centre (NSTC) in Orbe is Nestlé's leading R&D centre for the design, development and deployment of Nestlé delivery systems, offering expertise in machines, packaging and products for in-home and out-of-home.

As an
R&D Packaging Trainee, you will deliver renovation projects for NDG top membrane and capsule body.

A Day in the Life of a R&D Packaging Trainee
- **Project Management** : Explore and industrialize alternative options to current top membrane and capsule body versus defined success criteria, perform lab tests and pilot plant trials with the new materials. Ensure key steps of a project development

Validation plan : define the quality validation plan in collaboration with NSTC experts

Results Analysis and Conclusion : Analyse the data collected and propose the recommendations based on the results with key stakeholders

Final Report : Prepare, write and present a final report of the projects

What will make you successful

  • Student or fresh graduate in a Master's Degree in Packaging or related fields
  • Ideally previous experience in project management (minimun 2 years)
  • Good knowledge in packaging materials properties
  • Experience with lab activities and data analysis
  • Used to scientific environment
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
