The Head of Talent Development for our Operations Business Unit will be responsible for driving the Grow (Talent Development), Culture and Talent agenda in the global Operations organization (approx.

2000 employees across 12+ manufacturing sites worldwide), in areas such as: Culture Journey, Employee engagement, Talent Review & Development, Leadership Development and Change Management.

The role will be a key contributor to the design and development of the Grow agenda as part of the Global Community of Practice.

It will act as the key point of contact for our HR team and business leaders across the global Operations organization for all elements related to the Grow agenda and will work closely with the Grow community to deliver interventions in the different geographies.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a global team, proactively participating in the design, development and delivery of global initiatives and leading their deployment for the global Operations organization by working closely with global and regional Grow partners, the global head of Culture, the local HR Business Partners, the Operations senior leaders and the local manufacturing site heads.

The position reports to the global HR Business Partner for Operations with a matrix reporting into the Global Head of Grow and is a key member of the Global Grow Community of practice.


Main responsibilities

  • Ensure the deployment of culture and engagement initiatives across the Operations organisation, working closely with the local HR Business Partners to tailor activities to the different employee groups (from global teams to local production teams)
  • Foster a strong talent mindset in Operations: drive the deployment of the continuous performance development process, manage the endtoend talent review process, engaging with key business and HR stakeholders to support succession readiness and having the right peopleright positionright time, ensuring consistent and robust followup processes
  • Support the growth and development of the Operations organisation by designing, developing and running customized initiatives such as team effectiveness workshops or change management programs; facilitate existing leadership development / learning programs in alignment with the global Grow agenda (Leadership Academy / Manager Essentials)
  • Participate in the identification and development of future capabilities for Operations, with a focus on Lean and Digital, in close collaboration with the Head of Culture, the Data & Tech Business Partner, the Lean Project Manager
  • Coach and support the local HR Business Partners to embed Culture, Engagement, Talent and Development in the local HR agenda of every manufacturing site
  • Actively collaborate and contribute to Global Grow Community of practice, inputting to Global and Regional strategy and tactics and sharing best practises.
  • Act as project lead or partner for selected and assigned Global Grow projects: manage project from start to finish, including the necessary stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely implementation; accountable for the roll out of ad hoc and specific strategic projects (e.g. employee engagement surveys)
  • Support the development & implementation of various HR and organizational development projects; in particular to drive our company culture and to support progress in diversity, inclusion and belonging
  • Analyse, design, implement, evaluate and continuously develop Learning & Development offerings for our employees with regards to our company strategy and actual trends; develop "state of the art" learning concepts, such as blended, digital, social and onthejob Learning
  • Organise Grow / Culture activities including coordination with trainers and experts, participants, budget planning and reporting
  • Consult and support line managers, in partnership with local HR for all matters related to Grow
  • Coordinate with other global HR (Cloud) functions e.g Join for Recruitment and Recognition with Contribute to connect and embed our thinking across processes.

Your profile:

  • 8+ years operational and strategic human resources experience especially in the area of building and leading learning and development programs and managing talent and engagement processes,
OR

  • 8+ years operational and strategic business experience, involving driving transformation and supporting/ accompanying the people side of change
  • Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural organisation in transformation across multiple lines of business/divisions while balancing requirements from global to regional or local need
  • Experience of working with Operations environment (Quality & Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) desired
  • Demonstrated good project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate & partner in a complex global environment
  • Strong team player, enthusiastic & curious, good business understanding and excellent communications skills
