Product Costing Manager

About the role:

  • To perform annual Global standard product costing cycle along with preparation of analysis and management presentation to Commercial and Corporate Finance organizations
  • To Act as Finance Business Partner for Global Direct Procurement being responsible for financial matters linked to product costing topics
  • To run global digitalization projects of Product Costing processes

How you will contribute to Takeda:

  • Global annual
    Product Costing cycle support by:
  • Running global purchased price estimate process for Direct Materials
  • Running global consolidated and legal ERP costing in cooperation with all cross
- functional stakeholders (plant finance teams, global finance, planning & reporting team, etc.)

  • Running annual global legal costing cycle
  • Preparing costing analysis & management presentation
  • Running an analysis of cogs variances and idle capacity in terms of product costing implications
  • Running Cogs to Sales ratio analysis
  • Preparing SoX documentation
  • Acting as a contact person for commercial finance and Data & Digital organization in terms of product costing related topics
  • Overseeing Takeda Business Solution (TBS) activities related to product costing reconciliations and related SoX controls
  • Secure training and communication to / for all stakeholders within the Takeda Organization
  • Act as
    Finance Business Partner for Global Direct Procurement by:
  • Being responsible for Procurement savings tracking and their forward-looking sumulations
  • Creating dashboards with key financial KPI's
  • Controlling of projects budget
  • Assisting to Procurement team on business cases
  • Providing a guidance and training on financials
  • Run
    global digitalization projects in terms of:
  • Further standarization and automation of product costing processes
  • Enhancement of existing costing tools, models ( e.g. TM1, Business Warehouse,, SAP Analytics Cloud, Data Worehouse Cloud) in line with business changes or requirements
  • Contribution from product costing perspective to other finance related improvement initiatives

  • Build and strengthen GMSGQ Finance Network to support annual product costing updating process & ongoing improvement projects, give guidance, training for new joiners
  • Build effective collaboration platform with Commercial Finance, Data & Digital and Procurement organizations

Global role, interaction with multiple stakeholders around the world, different cultures, improvement and implementation projects, support and give training within Finance and non-Finance network; knowledge of Takeda production portfolio and supply chain / manufacturing footprint & processes

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required:

  • Min. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in Controlling, preferably knowledge as a production plant Controller in the International Pharmaceutical industry
  • Culturally aware, comfortable working in a multicultural, international matrix organisation dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in finance digitalization projects
  • Excellent analytical ability, continues improvement mindset, high level of numeracy
  • Knowledge of IFRS with emphasis on standard COGS calculations

Preferred:

  • Knowledge in SAP Module FI/CO, SAP tables, Business Warehouse, SAP Analytics Cloud, Data Warehouse Cloud
  • Fluent English skills in written and verbal form
  • Structured, flexible, digital mindset
  • Proactive with ability to work independently under own initiative
  • Presentation skills to convey complex ideas in a simple way
  • Strong computer software skills of quantitative data analysis using
