This role supports the business in matching demand and supply by managing the sales & operations (S&OP) planning process for our 'partnership' (non own-produced) product groups, both in the short & mid-Long term horizons, via supplier and inventory management as well as collaboration with key stakeholders (Procurement, Sales).

Key to success is 1) thorough understanding of portfolio 2) ability to convert company and BU objectives into operational actions 3) solid mastering of systems (SAP, APO, Dashboards) 4) (pro-)active communication and good relationship management with various stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process in the development of a plan encompassing the agreed sales, supply and inventory plans, to meet the short
- and medium-term sales ambitions of the business

  • Define inventory levels and stock policies in agreement with management and with regional Supply Chain teams
  • Responsible, via the IBP, for inventory target achievement and defining improvement actions, as well as for deciding on allocations/write offs and blocked material
  • Ensure the effective execution of the S&OP process within the planning system (APO) at global level and influence the regions to enable an integral supply chain planning in the system
  • Provide input into the S&OP process with "what if" scenarios to the proposed plan and simulate the effect of various alternatives, keeping in mind the main KPIs to optimize for (e.g., inventory)
  • Identify and agree supply chain improvement projects with business and suppliers
