Koa is all about social impact. In 2017, we had the bright idea of how to contribute to sustainable growth in rural West Africa. Our startup was born from a sophisticated concept, innovative processes and a lot of passion.

We upcycle the pulp of the cocoa pod, reducing food waste and providing Ghanaian cocoa farmers with an additional income.

Today, two teams in Ghana and Switzerland are committed to the growth of Koa. Our products inspire chefs, bartenders and the food industry internationally.

Do you want to work and advocate for social impact and become part of Koa? From January 2024 or by arrangement, we are looking for an

Intern Marketing & Sales, 100%

  • Design and coordination of events and trade fairs
  • Representation of Koa at events and trade fairs at home and abroad
  • Creation of marketing material and smaller marketing projects
  • Internal sales support (e.g. improving our CRM, data management, independent market analysis and sales lead research, etc.)
  • Sample filling and dispatch, inventory management
  • And of course: enjoying cocoa fruit juice.

Your Profile


You are a committed, motivated person who is not looking for a standard 0815 job: You want to get involved, go beyond yourself and experience exciting things.

You love to communicate and dare to approach people. Complex tasks do not block you, but motivate you to leave your comfort zone. When things get chaotic, you don't lose the overview.

You work in a structured and precise manner and at the same time bring along a good portion of creativity and humor.


Your Qualifications

  • Education in event management, communication, marketing, business administration or similar.
  • First experience in event management and administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in using Google Drive and Office 365 apps. Knowledge of CRM software is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken). Knowledge of French is an advantage.
