Data Scientist Intern

60%-100 % - 6 months (possible to extend another 6 months)

Why we are recruiting

Main responsibilities

  • Assess quality of data and remove or clean data
  • Enhancing the data collection process
  • Support building predictive models and machine learning algorithms
  • Assisting researchers in reviewing and describing research findings
  • Meeting regularly with supervisor to discuss research assignments

Formula for success

  • Bachelor or Master students, majored in data science/engineering/econometrics, or in a similar field
  • Good knowledge of statistics
  • Experience in objectoriented programming (OOP) in Python and/or R
  • Experience working with Application Programming Interface (API) a plus
  • Experience working with Git (or any version control system)
  • Knowledge in NLP a strong plus
  • Experience training and testing machine learning models in the cloud a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent English speaking/reading/writing
