Main responsibilities
Contribution to the strategic development of the brand

  • Support the Head of Brand with the strategic development of the brand.
  • Define development possibilities and propose new strategic projects for the Olympic properties.
  • Work with all the stakeholders to identify brand development needs in line with the strategic roadmap for the organisation.
Centre of brand expertise

  • In cooperation with all the departments, create, develop and run/evolve a centralised platform for the IOC and its partners on all brandrelated matters.
  • Contribute to the development of the key elements to be included in a document on the essence of the Olympic brand.
  • Ensure the consistency and update the content of the brand expertise centre and the various applicable guidelines, in collaboration with the departments concerned.
Brand-related services offered to departments

  • Be the main point of contact for all IOC departments on Olympic brandrelated matters.
  • Work with all the stakeholders to anticipate and respond to their needs relating to use of the brand.
  • Ensure that the ways the IOC uses the brand (on its products and services) are consistent in the long term, in order to promote the organisation's role and work by leveraging the brand.
  • Highlight the IOC's identity as a unique organisation and position it as a role model in terms of the use of the Olympic properties.
  • Identify and manage brand use best practices with a view to improving the guidelines and approval process.
  • Identify needs, and offer and run training and communication sessions on the IOC's corporate identity.
  • Manage the relations with all partners (both internal and external) for the development and deployment of the IOC's corporate identity.
  • At regular intervals, contribute to a consistent strategic review of the portfolio of IOC products and support the various departments with analysing and developing products in line with the IOC's strategy.
  • Assist the Head of Brand with monitoring the brand budget in relation to how the IOC uses it.
  • If necessary, assist the IOC teams with brandrelated project management, from designing briefs to supporting agencies.

Our requirements

  • Higher education (master's/bachelor's degree, federal diploma, etc.).
  • Professional experience in brand management (preferably noncommercial), graphic design and communication.
  • Proven project management experience in the area of brand management, ideally with experience in an international organisation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French. Knowledge of other languages a bonus.
  • Good knowledge of graphic design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Excellent command of the corporate tools and ability to follow the internal user rules (Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to learn concepts quickly and deal with complex issues in an organised way. A strategic thinker capable of seeing the "big picture" and making the appropriate recommendations.
  • Relational competences: experience of dealing with people at all levels of an organisation, and in gathering and communicating often complex and sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to consider issues from multiple angles.
  • Strong service orientation: excellent client service, problemsolving skills and an ability to monitor and disseminate information.
  • Ability to examine, understand and summarise complex problems, topics and information.
  • Ability to produce good results in terms of quality and quantity by adopting a pragmatic and efficient approach.
  • Ability to find solutions by making mutual concessions when competing interests and different interlocutors are involved.
  • Strong presentation/training skills: ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and orally, in order to inform, facilitate decisionmaking and convince readers and listeners.
  • Ability to multitask, with excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Ability to remain efficient in a constantly changing environment, and to adapt to new tasks, responsibilities and interlocutors.
