Intern to work 100% for 6 months on our Institutional Sales team, where you will assist the Swiss Institutional Clients team in Zurich to cover and acquire institutional clients

Your role:

  • Providing assistance to client relationship managers in their marketing activities by preparing visits, presentations, organising events and mailings, and updating client databases.
  • Liaising with different investment teams and portfolio managers to assist client relationship managers in their followup work for clients.
  • Supporting our business developers in prospecting work by helping with RFPs (offers) and market screens for clients and consultants.
  • Involvement in internal projects such as market segmentation work for pension funds and foundations and presenting the findings to the team.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's student/university degree, or a qualification deemed equivalent.
  • Work experience in finance would be a plus; the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
  • A highly motivated individual with analytical, communication and organisational skills and a willingness to take on tasks and work independently before reporting back to the team with results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building a solid network within the Pictet Group.
  • Fluent written and spoken German with an excellent command in English; French would be a plus.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland.
  • As the successful applicant you will be highly organised and quick on the uptake. You will also enjoy working as part of a team while still being able to operate efficiently on your own by virtue of your rigorous approach to work. In addition, you will value contact with different teams, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to show tact when necessary.Start date: tbd
