Every day, we step up to the challenge of making a positive impact. As a Commercial Trade Manager, you will oversee commercial trade strategies in Switzerland.
Key responsibilities for this role consist of:
- The Commercial Trade Manager will support the Head of Trade & Commercial Operations in implementing commercial trade strategies in Switzerland, including contract and account management. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with pharmacy chains/groups, wholesalers, and pre-wholesalers to enhance operational efficiency and achieve business goals.
- Strategy Implementation Advocacy: Assist in developing and executing strategies aligned with the company's commercial goals. Manage strategic plans for key pharmacy accounts under the supervision of the Head of Trade & Commercial Operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with wholesalers, pre-wholesalers, and key pharmacy accounts. Communicate regularly with strategic accounts to ensure their needs are addressed.
- Contract Negotiation: Contribute to negotiating and managing contracts with trade partners. Monitor contract performance and aid in implementing corrective actions to enhance compliance with agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Supply Chain Coordination: Work with the supply chain team to ensure product availability and optimize inventory levels. Provide insights on market demand and support supply chain enhancement efforts.
- Financial and Performance Reporting: Assist in monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of trade operations. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to meet financial targets.
- Cross-functional Team Support: Facilitate communication and collaboration between commercial and operational teams. Back cross-departmental initiatives to boost market reach and promotional activities.
The essential qualifications for this position include:
- The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a life science field.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial operations or a related role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- Background in pharmaceutical procurement in pharmacy or hospital settings.
- Proven track record as a Key Account Manager.
- Thorough understanding of the Swiss healthcare market and commercial dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively across organizations.
- Fluency in German, French, & English.
