Junior Trade Finance Assistant

Tasks:

  • Administrative support for Trade Finance team in daily tasks.
  • Booking financing costs in the respective systems.
  • Updating of all trade finance information in the database.
  • Assisting the Trade Finance team with the following tasks:
  • presenting and following up on transactional financing matters with Kolmar's financing banks.
  • Issuing, amending and paying of import documentary letters of credit, standby letters of credit and bank guarantees.
  • Checking and approving of presentations under letters of credit and claims under export and import documentary letters of credit, standby letters of credit and bank guarantees.
- approving of bank charges.

Your professional profile:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken, additional languages would be an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills would be an advantage.
  • Some experience within the commodities or banking sector would be an advantage.
  • Some experience in letters of credit would be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
