Job Overview

As a Caterpillar Rental Sales Territory Manager, you play a vital role in driving the growth and profitability of Caterpillar's construction product lines through dealer partnerships. Your focus on expanding the fleet of Caterpillar machines and tools in dealer rentals and services is crucial to our rental equipment growth strategy.

Your Responsibilities

• Facilitate annual business planning for accurate revenue forecasting.
• Ensure delivery of annual rental machine business forecast.
• Manage sales support programs within budget for achieving sales objectives.
• Act as the primary sales representative liaising with dealers, customers, and internal teams.
• Provide guidance to dealers on rental configurations and resale opportunities.
• Collaborate with allied vendor program teams to identify rental revenue prospects.
• Evaluate dealer performance and recommend strategies to enhance rental participation.
• Assess training needs for dealer staff and provide necessary resources.
• Advise dealers on competitor insights and optimal rental strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or finance.
• Minimum 4 years of similar role experience.
• Proficiency in French and English.
• Willingness to travel 25% - 50% within West and East Africa.
