The World Economic Forum is expanding its collaboration with public and private institutions that actively promote the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in human-centered ways.

Reasons for Recruitment:

The C4IR is a leading platform for anticipating emerging technologies and driving responsible sectoral transformation. It fosters progress through national ownership and global collaboration.

The C4IR consists of thematic teams focusing on areas like AI, Machine Learning, Bioeconomy, and Space Technology, as well as a Network and Partnerships Team (NPT) responsible for stakeholder engagement. The objective is to drive mission-driven initiatives and empower C4IR centers.

This role involves supporting C4IR leadership in ensuring seamless communication and coordination among teams for delivering value to partners and stakeholders consistently.

Reporting Structure & Interactions:

The Center Coordinator reports to the Head of Strategic Impact, C4IR, working across various teams and geographies in a dynamic environment. They collaborate with all C4IR teams, 4IR centers, and Innovators, as well as foster relationships with Forum Centers and other institutional teams. Building effective relationships is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities Breakdown:

Team and Culture:

  • Manage C4IR documents, information, and communication flow
  • Assist in onboarding new colleagues and fellows

Center & Institutional Processes:

  • Support leadership in addressing institutional priorities
  • Assist in organizing meetings, retreats, and townhalls

Community:

  • Support C4IR partners' engagement and progress tracking
  • Aid in onboarding interested partners, including Chief Digital Officers

Digital Success:

  • Liaise with Digital Success Team for tool utilization
  • Collaborate on data capture and management for effective operations
  • Update team documents for organizational efficiency

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Broad academic background with a focus on business, public administration, or technology
  • 3-4 years of experience in project management or consulting
  • Strong organizational, project management, and data analytics skills
  • Excellent team player with effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment and deliver under pressure
  • Independent and detail-oriented with strong language skills
