The Product COO for EMEA covers all Product COO topics across A&S, CIO and PPSS in the EMEA region. The role spans all Booking Centres for the EMEA region in IPB.

Reporting directly to the Global COOs for CIO/PPSS and A&S, the role - together with the team - will be mainly responsible for:

  • Strategic development of the product areas in EMEA in close collaboration with the business partners
  • Financial management for the product areas in EMEA with a focus on cost efficiency
  • Building up and maintaining a robust product governance framework and control environment across all product areas in the region
  • Implementing regulatory change relevant for products
  • Leading and participating in change projects with product relevance in close cooperation with partners in the Agile organization
  • Closely work with product teams and control functions in the regions to ensure bestinclass product offering is available
  • Run New Product Approval (NPA) processes in close cooperation with regional Head of PPSS
Key Profile

  • Extensive experience in a comparable role by preference within the (private) banking sector;
  • Proven track record of delivering key business initiatives across several departments (front office, investment, operations, finance, legal, tax, etc.);
  • Strong business acumen and product/process knowledge;
  • Good understanding of the regulatory compliance requirements applicable to Wealth Management, good knowledge of operational compliance procedure;
  • Experience of working in an international, multicultural environment;
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management;
  • Excellent communicator, able to present your ideas and to create buy in from your stakeholders;
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities;
  • Aptitude in decisionmaking and problemsolving;
  • Ability to work autonomously, team spirit;
  • English Fluent; any other language is a plus.
