HSM Procurement Trainee - Switzerland

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Trainee to join the Switzerland division of Hilton Supply Management (HSM). As a Procurement Trainee, you will be responsible for contributing to and supporting the Supply Management function in the areas of Category Management, Field Operations, Customer Engagement and Reporting & Analytics, primarily focused on the food and beverage category procurement.

A bit about the job

This job will provide an in-depth insight into Hilton Supply Management, which includes some of the below tasks:

· Owning the process & deliverables of critical HSM reports that provide the foundation for tactical and strategic decisions

· Liaising with our finance department regarding invoice management and financial reporting to support accurate P&L reports

· Studying and reporting on latest commodity trends using cutting-edge tools for internal and external stakeholders

· Leading a sourcing event and providing additional support for other sourcing events, to drive immediate value

· Interacting with hotels to ensure Supply Management issues are addressed with a customer focus

· Researching and developing lead intelligence for HSM that will create revenue opportunities

As part of the job, you will also get the opportunity to work cross functionally with other departments. You will understand the full process of Supply Management starting with the data, before turning it into strategic sourcing and then finally leveraging it into revenue.

What are we looking for?

As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered for this amazing opportunity. These are detailed as follows;

· Must have completed an Apprenticeship or Bachelor's degree in either Hospitality or Business Studies

· Must be eligible to work in Switzerland.

· Fluent in French, English and optionally in German, written and spoken

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including ability to understand/manipulate spreadsheets (Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).

· Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

· Hospitality industry experience or similar experience in a procurement/business setting would be advantageous, although is not essential
