Communications Manager

Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will be the central point of contact for all communication matters within the department.

  • Create and maintain content for the DCR website.
  • Design and produce newsletters for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate contributions and handle editorial planning for newsletters.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Create and publish content for social media.
  • Compile the annual report and coordinate contributions from various departments.
  • Support the development and implementation of communication strategies as well as the creation of PR materials.

Requirements

  • Completed education in communication, marketing, or similar qualifications
  • Professional experience in communication, ideally in an academic or clinical setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Experience with content management systems and social media platforms
  • Creativity and an eye for visual design
  • Ability to work in an interprofessional and interdisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a structure involving various institutions
