INTERNSHIP ROLE

We are looking for an Apparel Materials / Trims Intern to join The North Face within VF EMEA Internship Program.

KEY INTERNSHIP INFO

  • Start date: October 1st 2024.
  • For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600chf/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900chf/month.
  • We cannot grant that internship will lead you to the permanent position, but thanks to the effective training 70% of interns are staying in the company after the internship period

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • The full end to end product creation process and where materials and trims development fit into creating product.
  • Brand sustainability targets and involvement in projects to achieve them.
  • Understanding apparel performance standards and how these are tested and achieved.
  • All aspects of materials and trims development included prints, colour approvals and testing.
  • Working cross functionally with design, merchandising and product development teams.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • You will have a student status while beginning an internship or you have already graduated before in 2024 – it's a must.
  • You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have curious mindset with passion for working with people.
  • You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.
  • First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus.
