Facilities Coordinator

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for users, customers, and third parties in office and laboratory buildings
  • Informing building users about construction or other operationally relevant activities
  • Ensuring the accuracy of building security documentation and alarm organization
  • Conducting regular patrols and checking the security status, including marking permanent hazards
  • Managing administrative processes for approving and granting building access rights / shutting down equipment / media / work permits
  • Identifying repair needs, defining, and implementing necessary measures
  • Commissioning and monitoring repairs (ticketing)
  • Accompanying third-party companies and craftsmen in the building
  • Conducting room inspections after relocations
  • Ensuring compliance with building-specific requirements
  • Proactively informing about all activities in the building to the Facilities Team Leader
  • Performing the Building Representative function in office and laboratory buildings
Requirements:

Your Profile

  • 2 years as a caretaker or in a craft profession
  • German fluency in written and verbal communication
  • English language skills in written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to acquire new IT skills
  • Your Talent: driven, team player, independent, positive
