Your team:

These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.

As part of this programme in our Legal department, you will not only develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed in your future career at Pictet but also be given the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.

We offer you a permanent position starting with a unique 24-month programme during which you will rotate through different legal teams.

Your journey will start with the Group Legal department, where you will first join the team that provides advice and legal support for the trading (knows as Pictet Trading and Sales /PTS) and technology and operations (known as Tech&Ops/ T&O) divisions.- You will be assisting the management with numerous projects that PTS and T&O Legal is involved in (including derivatives and structures products and transactions involving other asset classes, KYC/AML, corporate actions, operational tax, shareholding disclosure, market infrastructure.

You will be contributing to and drafting of legal analyses/memoranda as well as contributing to the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirement.

At the end of the programme you will be ready to take full ownership of a position of a legal adviser in the Legal Pictet Asset Services, Pictet Trading and Sales, Pictet Technology & Operations (known as Legal PAS, PTS and T&O) service.


Your profile:

  • Completed exams and admission to the bar.
  • Previous relevant internship in a law firM/Financial institution.
  • Willingness to take a postgraduate training course.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, analytical and able to work efficiently on your own but also a strong team player.
  • Strong serviceoriented attitude, ability to distil information easily and excellent analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent writing skills in both languages. German would be a plus.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland.
