Technician Bulk Operations

Technician Bulk Operations responsibilities:
  • Ensure product manufacturing activities (capsules or tablets) in compliance with BPF / c GMPs, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to defined procedures by the pharmaceutical site's quality system.
  • Perform production operations such as material weighing, powder mix preparation, and automated line operation for capsules or tablets based on training and quality system procedures.
  • Provide technical support to production operators.
  • Master ERP tool (MES) for batch file management and related consumptions.
  • Master and clean equipment and room facilities for production stages.
  • Perform format changes and production line clearance.
  • Create/update technical documents for equipment operation (user manuals, cleaning instructions).
  • Follow guidelines in the pharmaceutical site's quality system.
  • Execute production operations for industrial batches in a GMP environment following supervisor's instructions.
  • Control, record, and complete predefined work documents for operation tracking (filled batch files according to BPF / GMP).
  • Conduct basic physical checks on manufactured products.
  • Participate in industrial process validation and validation batch production.
  • Meet production objectives, including adhering to established schedules.
  • Generate maintenance intervention requests for equipment breakdowns and follow-up until production resumes.
  • Analyze equipment failures and assist in maintenance interventions.
  • Initiate deviations in the quality computer system.
  • Perform format changes and basic adjustments as per procedures.
  • Act as a technical reference for operators.
  • Train new employees and operators on production lines and be a training reference (On the Job Qualified Trainer).
  • Comply with site safety and security rules.
  • Report hazardous situations, near-misses/incidents, and accidents to direct supervisor and EHS department.
Experience / Education: Must have initial CFC training and 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical production or ideally 3 years as a technician in the Pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of BPF / GMP environment and good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, especially in mixing, encapsulation, and/or powder compression sectors.
  • Fluency in French and basic English skills (A2 level).
  • Organized, meticulous, excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork.
  • Clear communication with support services, critical thinking, and proactive in continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Word, Excel) and MES.
  • Share knowledge and train new collaborators, operators on bulk zone equipment.
