  • As an Investment Manager in the Equities Department, you will strengthen our Thematic Equities team in Geneva

Your role:

  • Generating longterm thematic investment ideas based on bottomup, fundamental research and analysis.
  • Contributing to overall portfolio construction and implementation.
  • Working closely with other investment managers in the Thematic Equities team and in the broader equity franchise.
  • Working closely with our client portfolio managers and sales teams to support our client and consultant relationships.
  • Helping develop our thought leadership in thematic investing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the investment process
  • Engaging with companies' management teams on specific ESG issues.

Your profile:

  • 510 years investment (analyst/portfolio manager) or industry experience
  • Specific expertise in one or several of the following areas of the equity market: Industrials/Cap Goods, Agriculture, Soft commodities.
  • Strong commitment to fundamental, bottomup analysis with a longterm focus
  • Ability to build company financial models and assess whether the market is mispricing a stock
  • Strong awareness of stock market drivers
  • Strong conceptual understanding coupled with attention to detail. Ability to link ideas to facts.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as being an independent thinker with a clear focus on maximizing the team's success with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • A keen interest in Nutrition and food systems
  • Passion for and curiosity about societal and environmental sustainability. Familiarity with ESG concepts and experience in integrating ESG factors in investment analysis.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or in Sciences/Engineering. Additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA would be a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good Excel skills and working knowledge of Bloomberg. Python/programming skills would be a plus
  • Fluent in English; fluency in another major language would be a plus.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
