The
Global Pricing Ops & Analytics Lead plays key role in the development and execution of Takeda's global pricing & tender excellence strategy, guidance, governance and processes to fulfill our purpose to strive towards better health for people, and a brighter future for the world, aiming for broad and rapid patient access while maximizing the value of innovative PDT therapies.

The Global Pricing Ops & Analytics Lead will partner with the respective regional and LOCs Patient Value & Access, Pricing and Tender Excellence team, First & Last Liter Marketing Teams, and Strategy & Execution Team to drive revenue growth through pricing excellence and accelerate access through value-based pricing strategies.

This role supports the development of the value and price guidance for key pipeline products and marketed brands.

In this role, you will be in charge of the system administration and integration, the management of the Price and Tender Database (PriceRight Unity), ensuring data accuracy and update, and training of users and will liaise with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure synchronization and consistency of sales forecasts across functions and systems.

The Global Pricing Ops & Analytics Lead runs the implementation of the Competitive Insights Portal for the PDT products, centralizing competitor's information, and spreading insights along the value chain of the organization for capabilities lifting.


  • Supports Takeda's pricing and tender excellence guidance and governance and communicates it to internal stakeholders.
  • Develops Takeda's pricing and tender systems and capabilities with accurate and integrated data, proactively eliciting insights, decision price forecasting and horizon scanning.
  • Analyzes external pricing trends and advices a mitigation strategy.
  • Assesses Risks and Opportunities in price and tenders impacting the PDT portfolio.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:


The Global Pricing Ops & Analytics Lead will drive the price and tender analytic reporting and insights to provide guidance to cross-functional colleagues on price and tender management for the PDT portfolio - thereby supporting brand profitability and franchise sustainability, enabling prioritization and strategic decision making.

You will be in charge of the management of the Price and Tender Database (PriceRight Unity), ensuring data accuracy and update in close collaboration with the LOCs, and training of users.

The Global Pricing Ops & Analytics Lead will lead the implementation of the Competitive Insights Portal for the PDT products.


Strategic Pricing

  • Supports the development and execution of global pricing strategies based on valuebased pricing principles for key launches and marketed brands.
  • Analyzes the international price evolution for Takeda's and competitors' products, identifying and forecasting changes in trends that could pose a risk for Takeda's portfolio, and communicates to senior management.
  • Identifies and analyzes Risks and Opportunities in the Price and Tender spaces for the PDT products, ensuring they are shared with key stakeholders.
  • Supports the development of value and price guidance based on tiered pricing, sustainability, plasma economics, and VBH principles for key launch and marketed brands.
  • Supports key pipeline assets with early price guidance, pricing and tender analytics and launch planning, including tender landscaping.
  • Coordinates the Intenational Launch Tracker for the pipeline and inline products, in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, Commercial and Supply Chain.
  • Ensures indepth understanding of changes in pricing and reimbursement environment, regulations and policies of key markets and impact on Takeda products and communicates main insights to key stakeholders in the organization.
  • Support the development of the pipeline strategy by providing insights and analytics to relevant R&D GPT teams.

Performance and System Management

  • Elaborates Pricing and Tender Performance dashboards, focusing on quantitative output, including Monthly Alerts, Quarterly Insights Reports, reporting package for MRP , Qlik Sense Dashboard, and adhoc analyses to inform decision making, proactively addressing main stakeholders to ensure value proposition is delivered.
  • Drives Price and Tender data accuracy in the Pricing and Tender Database (PriceRigth Unity
  • PRU), ensures system integration with MRP, synchronization of actual sales with SAP, and integration with SOE planning.
  • Updates and maintains PriceRigth Unity and Qlik Sense Dashboard systems to align it with current business requirements.
  • Provides user training in the use of the QlikSense Tender Dashboard and diverse reporting packages to promote knowledge transfer in the org
