The Indirect Procurement Purchaser/Buyer's primary role is to manage the specified indirect procurement categories in support of the Head of Indirect Procurement.

• Lead procurement activities including expenditure analysis, supplier and contract management for assigned indirect product categories.
• Develop and follow existing procurement strategies, select suppliers, and implement negotiated prices and other terms in framework contracts for assigned products/services to achieve optimal value and quality from suppliers.
• Support the Head of Indirect Procurement in developing, shaping, and implementing procurement strategy while aligning with the company's strategic priorities.
• Manage internal projects from a procurement perspective by contributing procurement strategies, supplier innovations, as well as bidding and negotiation skills to support Project Managers and sponsors in achieving overall goals.
• Ensure procurement solutions are suitable and aligned with business requirements, demonstrating the lowest total costs, optimal service, and highest quality with relevant and effective procurement innovations.
• Manage the procurement lifecycle, tender processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), evaluation, drafting, contract closure, onboarding, negotiations, supplier management, etc.
• Analyze, identify, optimize, and develop sustainable procurement strategies to minimize risks and TCO while maximizing business benefits.
• Identify and qualify potential suppliers for the defined product category strategies and ensure effective management of key supplier relationships while minimizing risks and continuously achieving benefits.
• Continuous improvement, standardization, and implementation of identified procurement process enhancements including demand and procurement market analyses, tenders, negotiation, award, supplier selection with contract closure, and ordering.
• Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to understand and fulfill their requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and internal processes while upholding Swiss and international ethical standards in all procurement activities.

• Completed degree (FH/University) with specialization in procurement/purchasing/supply chain management with familiarity in end-to-end processes.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic procurement of indirect materials and services as well as in CAPEX within an internationally active company, with proven experience in managing procurement expenses in indirect categories.
• Good understanding of the role and impact of procurement on the overall company in close collaboration with finance, production, logistics, and other stakeholders.
• Mastery of project management principles and experience in leading procurement projects.
• Excellent negotiation skills in German and English. Proficiency in other European/Asian languages is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in MS-Office tools and experience with ERPs (SAP, Comarch, etc.), especially in modern Procurement-to-Pay processes.
• Very good interpersonal communication, motivation, and presentation skills, along with the ability to successfully interact at all levels, internally and externally.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment characterized by volatility, complexity, and ambiguity.
• Flexible, reliable, and self-motivated individual with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Hands-on mentality, teamwork, and high performance and accountability.
• Demonstrated strong ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in an international environment, with a passion for promoting positive relationships across different cultures.
