  • MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
  • To develop, implement and drive ecommerce strategy and initiatives, as well as gotomarket, scale and grow strategic B2C initiatives that align with the overall Digital Transformation Strategy of Mediclinic. This role also needs to identify new opportunities, develop business plans for digital health projects and enhance business growth potential through campaigns that will increase adoption, engagement and retention for Mediclinic digital health products.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Develop and execute an ecommerce strategy that aligns with the overall digital health transformation strategy of Mediclinic.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of the ecommerce platform, ensuring it is scalable, meets the needs of the business and customers and complies with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target audience, including their journeys, needs, preferences, and behaviours and manage the customer experience across the ecommerce platform.
  • Develop and execute creative growth hacking strategies along the customer journey (to drive awareness, engagement, adoption, acquisition down to retention and referral) that result in meaningful user acquisition and engagement and retention.
- _Lead the identification of new opportunities and the development of business plans for our digital health projects, while collaborating with the Divisional Marketing Team(s) to define the value proposition of the digital products, create marketing strategies in alignment with the Digital Health Transformation goals._._

  • Monitor and analyse ecommerce metrics and data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and use this information to make datadriven decisions and monitoring progress against business plans and adjusting strategies as needed to stay on track.
  • Manage relationships with thirdparty providers, including payment processors, service partners, and other vendors, to ensure the delivery of highquality products and services to patients.


 REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
  • A master's degree in business administration, marketing, ecommerce, or a related field.
  • DESIRED EDUCATION
  • An MBA or other advanced degree may be preferred.
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 10 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field in the B2C industry
  • Proven experience in defining and executing ecommerce strategies, and driving revenue growth
  • 5 years experience in leading and managing crossfunctional teams, developing and executing ecommerce
  • Proven experience of successful growth initiatives implementation

  • REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficiency in identifying and segmenting target customer groups based on demographics, psychographics, and behaviours to tailor go to market efforts effectively
  • Development and execution of longterm and shortterm customer strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Ability to develop and implement product launch plans, value propositions, and messaging strategies to drive customer engagement.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive ecommerce strategies and to manage and optimise ecommerce platform to improve user experience and optimize overall performance.
  • Gotomarket and growth initiative implementation
  • Strong technical skills in managing largescale ecommerce platforms and related technologies
  • Expertise in CMS, analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms and knowledge of various growthhacking tools, such as automation and campaign monitoring platforms
  • Business strategy, financial analysis, business case principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams, external vendors, and customers, as well as to communicate with the executive team and other stakeholders
  • Creative with outstanding analytical and problemsolving skills, strong resultsdriven mind set
  • Change management skills
  • Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices
