Position Overview

The role of People & Development Assistant in Switzerland involves aiding the Geneva people team in operational efficiency.

You will play a key role in various people-related processes and initiatives such as benefits, cultural events, employee communication, learning and development, leave programs, onboarding, and recruitment in a global and dynamic setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing employee contractual documents (e.g. employment contracts, addendums, termination letters)
  • Producing work certificates / attestations
  • Handling work permits request and renewal process
  • Guiding new hires through the onboarding process
  • Maintaining employee records (Workday)
  • Processing invoices (Ariba system)
  • Engaging with employees and relevant stakeholders
  • Providing assistance to the team in essential HR processes (e.g. performance management, employee surveys, training)
  • Assisting in the recruitment process (e.g. CV screening)
  • Coordinating local perks & benefits in Geneva
  • Organizing employee connection sessions (Legacy Awards, Geneva People Connect, etc.)
  • Finding ways to enhance work procedures and boost employee satisfaction, both internally and externally

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • 2-3 years of prior experience in Swiss HR administration
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and multitasking abilities, keen attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on approach with a positive attitude
  • Exceptional team player and communicator, comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in information systems – Workday familiarity is advantageous
